5 Magnolia Market Steals that You Can Afford

If you don’t watch Fixer Upper on HGTV yet, you should, it’s hands down my favorite show right now. The show features Joanna Gaines and her husband Chip. They upgrade houses in the Waco, Texas area and Joanna’s style is very clean, fresh and farm house like. It’s right up my alley. They even have a hobby farm with Scottish Highlanders. Watch the show, and check out her online shop over at Magnolia Market.   She had her annual sale last week, and I was tempted scrolling through all of her treasures…but…(I hope this doesn’t ruin my non-existent relationship with Joanna)…it’s pricey. Enter some creativity and online searching and I give you, 5 Magnolia Style items for a much more affordable price.

  1. Custom Magnolia Market Lazy Susan $89

vs.

IKEA Lazy Susan $7.99

2. Dutch Tulip Crate

vs.

The Flea Market Find. $10

If you’re local, my sister found a crate just like this at a flea market in Ozark, MO called Iron and Wood Mercantile (check them out on Facebook). I believe hers is from a grape farm in MO. Same concept.

3. Standing Wire Mug Rack $125

vs.

World Market Antique White Wire Rack $14.99

4. Wooden Cookbook Holder $34

vs.

Wooden Cookbook Stand on Amazon.com $22.17

5. Wire Field Basket $15

vs.

Wire Basket Set (3) from Hobby Lobby $23

I will say, Magnolia Market has some very unique, one of a kind items that are fantastic. If you’re looking for something similar to the above items though, I hope this helps. Happy Trails!
